Gimme Something Good (Ryan Adams Cover). Lockdown Collab.
Here’s something that I’ve been up to during lockdown… A collaboration with Phil Wilson (drums), Greg Smith (bass) and Bob Fridzema (keys) on Ryan Adams’ “Gimme Something Good”.
The actual mix and video was done by Phil and I think you’ll agree he’s done a cracking job! We had a lot of fun making this and hope you enjoy it too!
I’ve always loved this song since the minute I heard it and it was actually this that got me into Ryan Adams in the first place. I thought I’d use my Patrick Eggle Macon for this but to give enough of a nod to his sound I decided to use a Fender Princeton Reverb with the reverb on 10, just like he does!
