From what I have compiled, if you go to Chantel @ Ripley on either 2nd or 4th Nov. there’s no significant clashes in the area.

Can’t help you with the Lewis Hamilton gig though, I’m kind of torn with Ben Poole @ Sunderland; Ben’s a rare visitor to these parts and his mentor Bernie Torme was a bit of a “star” back in the day. Time to charge up the robot clone me thinks.

Keep an eye out also for Henrik Freischlader, early Feb.

I wonder if T2 will be as big a disappointment as the original Trainspotting was to the railway enthusiast.

Wow!!! We haven’t done this for a while…....

So, checking/updating the ol’ TT Gig Guide and here’s a good clash for you; more doubles tennis than football, but the principle still holds.

May 3rd:-

The Brew + Albany Down   V   Sean Webster + Laurence Jones
        Hartlepool                           Guisborough

Looks like May is going to be “one of those months”: -

16th - VATA @ The Cluny or Ian Siegal @ Darlington Blues Club…..  HEELLLLPPPPP!

As recently pointed out by friend Michael in Gateshead, an interesting clash in the New Year:-

Martin Barre @ The Cluny V Joanne Shaw Taylor @ The Sage

A Tyneside Derby…....
