Okay; fleshing details out a bit more from Tommy;

Hartlepool’s 1st Blues Festival is looking like this:-

Friday 12th Nov:-
Kyla Brox Band
Gerry Jablonski Band

Saturday 13th:-
Billy Walton Band
Ian Siegal (solo)
The Achievers
Jupiter Blues Band

Sunday 14th:-
Malone/Sibun Band
The Cinelli Brothers
Troy Redfern Band
Robert J Hunter Band

At the moment, “Weekend Tickets” only at £100 and for the time being, limited to 100. This price though is fixed; as the time approaches, more bands may be added and “day” tickets may become available depending on what restrictions Chairman Boris may impose.

Finally, an American Touring band after 18 mths. I don’t know where they are finding fuel this weekend but glad they did.
Robert Jon and the Wreck laid the foundations for a bigger tour next year with an almighty gig at Hartlepool Steelies last night.
I got at early doors and it was already half full and the place was packed an hour before we kicked off. Which, came from top fella, Troy Redfern, 30 mins of slide set the audience up.
I think it was the best impact (impressive) Band I’ve seen since the Royal Southern Brotherhood. Even a writer for a blues mag said, I don’t know how to put this into word. I certainly can’t. Just an outstanding night of music.
Welcome back Live Music at its best.

Glad you had a great time mate….. It was looking to me like most of the bands I’d have wanted to see had to drop out for some reason.

Eagle-eyes may have spotted that I’ve adjusted the title to this thread since it looks like the move to the SW Durham Club is more-or-less permanent home-base for Tommy.

Coming up in 2022:-
23rd Jan - Bates Motel
26th Feb - Mike Zito + John Doe Trio
9th April - Crow Black Chicken
23rd April - Ian Siegal (solo)
25th June - Steepwater Band + Rob Tognoni
23rd July - Sean Webster + The Stumble
