Seriously, this hasn’t got it’s own thread? I can’‘t wait to put the glad rags on and meet up with 4000 similar minded people. For, value for money, you can’t beat it. 4 Indoor venues, dozens of Artists food and drink until it comes out of your ears (if you wish)  and comfortable chalets to recharge your batteries. and not talking about your phone. The staff are nothing less than brilliant.

It’s hard to describe how much fun I had at the weekend. Take 4/5000 similar minded people, thousands of gallons of drink, As much as you can eat restaurants, A couple of hundred musos, old and new, great attentive staff, Accommodation that works out about £85 each which includes all the music. (Food and drink extra) and what do you get?
Not much sleep, that’s what! Still shattered!

So close now I can smell it. Sea air at least. Skegness have done their usual thing and ‘lost’, a couple of names, notably Mike Sanchez and Kim Wilson but hey ho, it still is an incredible weekend for meeting up with old and new friends.  If anybody reads this, and is coming, I’m the one on the Mike Ross (with Jack Hutchinson) Merch desk in Reds stage, 7.45 Friday. I shall be wearing the MR tee shirt but not the Beard/Hair/hat combo

It’s hard to describe to anybody else, what the Friday afternoon at Skegness feels like. The first few hours are spent saying hello to friends and getting handshakes and man hugs off relative strangers, the common bond being supportive of the music scene. I still get people coming up to me on Sunday saying, we’ve been trying to say hello but you are always talking to someone! That’s about right.
So, no more Jaks bar, the pub venue, we now have Hotshots, the bar inside the Skyline, do it will be warmer and easier for people to hangout outside if they need a breather, or a Burger King! I re open, come 12.30am when the last band come on, people wont notice where they are!
For the record, I have no flight plan of who to see, just to get as little sleep as I can and worry about it next week.
