Eric Gales on 29th May is a bit of a tempter, but I hope someone has told him that it’s a long way from Poole the night before…..

Just posted on the list - Skinny Molly for Newcastle Cluny - 28th October.

This will “probably” be Linda Valentine’s last outing as a promoter - but you know what its like in this game, never say never…... Still, let’s make it a sell-out…what say?

Got a nasty case of whiplash doing a double-take while checking new additions on The Sage’s website. Birkett & Fisk in June. I thought I’d have me some of that and give Tilerman a shout.

Unfortunately, not Steve & Joel, but James (B) and Emma (F); still if you like some hot Jazz and the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, give it a shot - June 20th.

Hush man! Don’t think Rollers fans have mellowed with age: can you imagine Shildon being awash with tartan?

Actually, it has a mention in the Festivals thread. The event does try to cover a broad spread of music, and for the discerning Bluesist, this year The Revolutionaires and Smokin Spitfires carry the flag, as well as a couple of local bands (one, all the way from Spennymoor so be hopes they don’t extend their set and miss their bus).

PS - happy 600th post!!!!!
