Just found this and don’t know what to think of:

Is it a hoax or a confirmed date?
Can’t find anything on the website.

That sounds not too bad.
To be honest that sounds so damn good if Aynsley is playing but even on the homepage of Münster the band is announced:

Next weekend will be a very long for me from June 3 until June 7 but probably without music or at least without live music.
And there are so many good gigs ...  but probable without me.
I’ll make a bike or windsurfing tour together with friend and dog.

The Muster gig on the 5th you are talking about was mentioned by Aynsley on Facebook as most definitely being ON. Nothing was mentioned about venue or times. Hope you get to see it and can report back. My guess is its been arranged very quickly as a warm up for Glastonbury as The Album Launch in London on the 3rd has apparently been cancelled.

I’m afraid but I have other plans for the weekend, but maybe Bibi will report back.
The Münster harbour festival seems to be a huge city festival with loads of attractions and a pretty good chance for Aynsley and the band to gain some new fans.
The festival will be from Friday until Sunday and there are 40 bands on 4 stages.
One of the sponsors of the festival is Antenne Münster, so maybe a chance that they will play something in the radio.
Aynsley’s gig is announced on Saturday, stage III, from 9:00 until 11:00 pm.
I would say Aynsley should load the tour bus with some of the brand new CDs.

Saturday June 5th. I’m having breakfast with my new friends I just met before the Bonamassa gig at the campsite. Message at my telephone: if there’s enough space in my tent for one person extra (hahaha, boyfriend decided not to go biking in Holland with his dad, but to come to Germany as well!). That’s a nice start of the day!
Tent down, all stuff at the bike, one last diet coke at the Rhein Boulevard at Rüdesheim (enjoying all the Bikes at the Harley event) and on the route again. Münster here I come!
Funny: Martin and I arrived at exactly the same time at the campsite.
In Münster the old harbour is used for new purposes. Little shops and a lot of restaurants. The weather was VERY nice and a lot of people were there. Stage 3 was easy to find and we saw Aynsley’s friends of the merchandise, so that meant: New Cd’s for sale!!!
We saw the other band ending and than it took very long to get ready for the AL gig. Unfortunately there weren’t things working well. It wasn’t their own gear, so the band and audience had to show patience. Luckily they were the last ones on stage, so no extreme time pressure. From the beginning on there was enough audience, but along the way it really started to get crowded. People really liked the show! The cheers and applause were loud! So was the band at the 2nd stage, they made so much noise! But Aynsley made a joke about it and went on and a lot of people decided to stay here instead of taking a look there. So after a little bit of disapointment the band really did a good job and turned the gig into a success. They were asked back for a second time and I mean there really was a lot of screaming for a “Zugabe”. Which we got off course. Afterwords a lot of people at the merch stand. I bought 2 copies of the Tower Sessions and than we walked back to the campsite. I really think the band did a good job and got new people enthusiastic for their music!

Thanks for reporting back Bibi.

Sounds like a good gig.

You should check ou the Robin Bibi Band - I suspect they are right up your street and have a name that I’m sure you’ll like.

Nice one Bibi.

You can’t beat a good Zugabe!!

A new word in my vocabulary. At the Bonamassa gig the day before I was yelling “We want more”. But after a while I realized that the rest was screaming something else at the same rhythm. I listened very well and switched to “Zugabe” (which also was fun off course).

You’re a lot quicker than me, it took me years to pick up the chant - but the meaning is always loud & clear.

Thanks a lot for the review.
I couldn’t convince my boyfriend to make a bicycle tour in Rüdesheim and a trip to Münster.
So it was a gig free weekend near the Dutch coast with lots of time to hear some music I bought recently.
Had to think of you on Friday and on Saturday and it’s good to hear that you had such a great time.

Regarding the “Zugabe”. That’s what Germans always shout at the end of a concert.
If the band doesn’t come out again very soon especially if not from Germany we sometimes try it with we want more.

Also found some comments about Aynsley’s gig:

http://www.jukejointbluesradio.de/t3608f13-Ainsley-Lister-Juni-auf-dem-Hafenfest-in-Muenster.html
The reviewer Volker says that the band played in front of about 500 people. Some haven’t heard the name of the band before. When he was asked by a woman after the band’s name, he helped her out and found her later dancing in front of the stage. He writes that it was a superb gig though he isn’t that rock oriented. At the end he says, if one likes it rocky, Lister is a good choice.

http://www.muensterschezeitung.de/bilder/fotostrecken/detail/cme92926,1800980
They say: Aynsley Lister convinced at the MZ stage in the evening.

http://www.halternerzeitung.de/lokales/muenster/Aynsley-Lister-Auf-den-Spuren-von-Eric-Clapton;art993,925970
This is an article announcing the gig of Aynsley Lister as a favourite band.

http://www.waf-chat.de/magazine/article.show.php?text_id=2661
Actually it’s only one sentence, but they write: ...At the jazz & co stage: one of the highlights, the performance of Aynsley Lister ...

Maybe next time the band plays in Münster the Hot Jazz Club could be too small.
