How about a spot at Leicester blues festival?  As a local lad it seems wrong Aynsley’s not there! I note Ian Parker is appearing this year.  Maybe a blues caravan reunion?

Would have been good for Ayns to be there! Bit late now though!!
I’m in Leicester now!! Just been to the first night of the festival. After a 5 hour journey down we turned up about 3 hours later than expected. Caught Mike Sanchez who was excellent!
Really looking forward to tomorrow though!! Theres a hell of a lot of good bands on!!

As I understand it ALB was due to be playing at Leicester. This is taken from the website of his PR company at http://www.gfi-promotions.com/

GFI Promotions are proud to announce that FOUR of its clients, Ian Parker, Oli Brown, Dani Wilde and Derrin Nauendorf will be playing the Leicester City Blues Festival on the Saturday, sharing the stage with the legendary Gary Moore
Aynsley Lister is no longer playing this gig, instead is sharing a stage with the mighty ROBIN TROWER in Fleetwood.

Of course as mentioned on this forum, Aynsley has a homecoming gig in Leicester next weekend, whcih is great as I’m sure he’ll be playing for longer than the hour he may have got at the festival.

That would make sense, that a date which was part of a tour would have to take precedence.  Let’s hope that means Aynsley will be there next year because I thought the lineup was great - Colne take note.  I did not know that Derrin was managed by the same company (no reason why I should I suppose!), man, but I do love him!

I was looking forward to seeing Derrin at the weekend but he wasn’t there. Aparently he cancelled at the last minute. Don’t know the full story though so I’m not sure why.
