First of all, the support was great - everyone should give an earful to Jon Amor.
Maybe you could return to MK and play our other venue ‘The Pitz’. This is a stand-up venue that’s nigh on perfect for rock AL style.
Plus they are easy on AV.
That said check out my YT post of a new ‘swamp rock’ reworked-for-the-tour version of ‘Disorderly Me’ with a nice introduction from our local rock god Mr Spoons. Plus you get an all too brief glimpse of Jo in her sexy stage outfit.
IMHO while AL’s version of Purple Rain has its moments it was not one of the highlights. I could list quite a few from the back catalogue - maybe something from Superkev - in preference but that’s just me. We got a fine rendition of BoS (first for us with this band line up) and a nice blues jam with Mr Amor so I ain’t complaining.
