Cliff,
Two mammouth homeruns for your two Blues boys. I can’t believe you posted this information 3 weeks ago and nobody has bothered to respond. Robin Overall is the real deal. Very talented and polished. Not showy, but you know this guy is very good. Can really see Eric Johnson’s influence sans flash.
Tim Hain may be the most interesting musician I’ve heard in a long time. Can’t wait to get “One Man Went to Mojo”. What a bada** album! I’ll take it next summer to the beach, sipping an adult beverage and tapping my toe in the sand. Thanks again for the heads-up.

glad you liked the two artists mentioned, especially TIM HAIN;going to see him play about mid march for the first time as i only heard of him last december and found his mix of blues/reggae exceptional, my personal fav cd is his most recent ‘BLEGGAE’ which along with AL’s debut album barely leaves any cd player at home or work.there are so many good players out there whatever there style or genre and i find myspace a good site to check them out.any further suggestions from yourself or anyone, come on list them it dont take long to knock out a message .personnally i listen to most guitar based music from the 60s thru to present day including anything from hard/heavy/glam/classic rock thru to blues/reggae/jazz/punk/indie,artists to many to list.
final note AL at the 100 club on the 29th cant wait after seeing him for the first time on the 6th at the half moon in putney.

Cliff,
I checked into Tim Hain’s web site and it looks like everything thats on “Bleggae” is on the Mojo disc and Mojo has 6 or 7 extra songs. He also has an earlier album that I’m gonna get. Usually, when I sample a cd I rate each song 1 thru 5 with an exceptional song getting a 5.5. If I find a record with at least 3 fives included I’ll buy it. “One Man Went to Mojo” got six 5s and three 5.5s. I think that’s my all time highest rated disc. Of course this is only my humble opinion. I’ll send you a private message in the near future the stuff I’m listening to these days.
