Hi everybody…what a fantastic night. Ive seen AL on many occasions but that has to be the best.Sound was superb, best since I saw A at the Brook, vocals were as clear as day. Saw several of you with the badges but couldnt make it to the Ice Wharf. Was a triple night for me, Ive long been a fan of Jon A since Hoax days and it was my birthday…erm.. past 50 say no more!! JM turns out some wicked electric stuff, so recommended for any that havent sampled. Have some pics but wasnt up THAT early to post like someone!!! Not out of the camera yet!!May be rubbish!!  Any way hope to meet up with some of you at the next one ‘down south’.
Rock on.

What a great show! It was worth the wait. Wonderful to put faces to names. Cliff, you need to work at being a bit more enthusiastic…lol…Great reviews from the Bonamassa fans. Lots of new Aynsley fans. Props to the venue also..user friendly and a good soundman (He doesn’t need to listen to Soundman). I’m sorry we didn’t get to visit more. BIG thanks to Duncan for all his hard work and to |Phil for the very professional badges. You guys rock!!! Now, if we had only known the tube was going to shut down 5 minutes before we got there…but that’s another story…lol….Cathy

Yeah - great night everyone - my heads bangin’ on the inside this morning, so I’m on a slow recovery - been sitting in the garden listening to the Buddaheads (thanks Curby) - need to take it easy for tonight at the RAH - it was great to meet everyone and thanks to Duncan and Phil (badgeman) for their efforts - I think we all had a great time - hope Aynsley and the band enjoyed it too….....

It was so good to meet so many of you, as a fan gathering it was an unqualified success. I think we should make it an annual event and call it ‘Hugfest’ lmao - I’ve never had my arms sound so many people in such a short space of time. I’d like to add my thanks, Phil you did a great job of those badges and I’m keeping mine for future use (hopefully) thanks so much for taking the trouble. Thanks from me also to Prakash for making that journey to be there, it was lovely to meet him at long last and I can hardly wait to see the results of his hard work. The gig itself I thought was tremendous, sound at the front was rather brutal, tbh, but that’s how I like it and it suited Big Sleep perfectly and set the scene for the whole night. I also thought Jon Amor was fantastic and I wish those yapping at the bar had paid more attention, they missed out. It was disappointing not to have seen him join Aynsley for a song tho, maybe some other time. Next time I go anywhere near Camden Lock market I’m taking a lot more money!

I agree! I thought Jon Amor was awesome too, his album is definately one to buy. Very dry sense of humour too, which made it all the more better smile

I thought the sound was great - the nice thing about venues like Dingwalls is that you can move around and get views from different angles - I tried standing by the pa speakers and that was a bit brutal, as you would expect, but once you moved away a bit, it was fine. The band cranked it up big time - great stuff wink

Count me in as one the the “everybodies”. I only discovered Aynsley last year when he was supporting Robin Trower (and for me, stole the show). Had the different pleasure of seeing him at a small and sparsely populated acoustic gig, too, but last night was, well, electric!

Hi Stuart a big welcome to the forum and what a gig to kick off your postings on the forum.

I took a friend (who was new to Aynsley) and he said that Aynsley’s playing was something else.

we’ve heard from Britbabe.

Hi all,

What can I say that hasn’t already been said, but that was a bit special. It was also great to meat everyone as well and put faces to everybody. And Cliff, my daughter says, well, maybe I better not repeat it, lol, top bloke. We must all try and do it again sometime, maybe The 100 Club if Aynsley plays there again.
