Dear BAZNPAT
I am not one for answering these posts in the norm as it is an open forum for people to express views, but, some of your comments here are a little unfair in my opinion.
I stress, this is my opinion and not that of either Aynsley or Jo.
Yes the venue was not one of the best we encounter as it is not a dedicated music venue, but we always try to make the best of the situation, and we were invited to play. As it was the audience we encountered and chatted to post show were warm and appreciative of our performance on Saturday and very pleased that we were invited to play in Guisborough.
Regarding concert info, we passed on all the info we were given before hand which was duly displayed on the site, If it helps, we were a little confused with the venue information ourselves.
As for the start time, if you look at the gig list on this very site, you will see that all of Aynsley’s shows start at around 9pm. As a general rule most venues open doors at around 8pm this does differ depending on the promoter and venue.
We were given no information for a concert time untill I asked the promoter on the night and then we were asked to start between 9.20 and 9.30 and thats exactly what we did.
I am sorry you felt that we neither cared nor could be bothered to impart any information but we were just working with what we had.
We are always appreciative of our fans, Aynsley especially, which is why we spent a good 1.5 hours after the show signing CDs selling T-Shirts and chatting to people who came to say thanks!
Without the fans we don’t get to do what we do, unfortunatly there are circumstances that are out of even our control.
Once again I am sorry you feel let down, and I hope you get to see us again under better circumstances for yourself. I will however pass on your comments to Aynsley and the promoter for Saturday’s gig in the hope that it does not happen again.
Kind Regards
Rich (The drumming bloke)
