Hi folks, I can tell you re the questions, Aynsley (not Alan) was in touch ealy last week, so say he had them and would be looking at them
Ice I’m Upon is not one I like too much, but excited to hear Crosstown was in the set!
The point is that Aynsley has such a great catalogue of songs, which is why I’d love him to play for 3 hours.

Not a chance mate, since there’s a support band - and, didn’t someone mention a strict 11pm curfew? Or am I confusing that with another place? We might hope for 2 hours tho I guess, if we’re lucky!

It’s good that the venues are selling out, but does Aynsley now need to play larger gigs?
What’s been the capacity of the recent sell outs?
I’m off to the Robin2 on wednesday - think it holds about 600 max. Aynsley’s never sold it out but he always draws a good sized enthusiastic crowd. His popularity there has grown on the back of the Blues Caravan and Double Header tours with local boy Ian Parker.

I think it is more than possible to have a two hour set, it’s quite simple you just start earlier. The gig listing on the website says most gigs start at 9pm, but most I’ve read on her, Aynsley has started about 9.30.
I like that suggestion Lynne!! We’re experiencing English weather today (cool and rainy) after it was nearly eighty degrees and sunny the last couple of days.
I’ve been wondering about the Robin’s capacity lately, Ian, because I’ve been there when he’s had the place pretty packed too. I wish I could make it down for that but with my trip to Scarborough on Tuesday and then Dingwalls I thought I’d better not ask to spend any more money on fuel!
