Hello all.  I’ve just had a message from Mark Horsley who’s putting on the blues gigs at The Cask in Scarborough, he says that an article about Aynsley’s gig has just appeared in the Scarborough Evening News and he expects tickets to go quickly now.  Tix are priced at £8 in advance (£10 on the door if any are left!) and you can reach Mark through the ‘Contact Us’ button on the website at: http://www.scarboroughbluesclub.co.uk

Out of curiosity, I had a look for the artical and found this:

http://www.scarborougheveningnews.co.uk/music/New-club-dedicated-to-the.4450619.jp

I suspect there may be a more recent article specifically on Aynsley.
Hope the gig is a sell out and I look forward to hearing about it next week! smile

It will sell out. I live here and it is not a big venue and it is run and paid for by one man, no profit it is all put back in to getting other acts to come and play. So come to unsunny Scarborough BRING A BROLLY AND A JUMPER IT,S FREEZING. Check out the other acts he has got lined up..impressive.

Its the wrong part of the country for me, but most of the forthcoming gigs look to be acoustic - perhaps they are big sellers in Scarborough, but not sure they’d be too popular down here in London - Gugun in Feb 09 should be good - he is a SRV type player and very good - loads of his vids on youtube by Tripsybon - check em out - someone mentioned the poor attendance in Ipswich - must have been a tractor convention on!!
