I was asked this question at the weekend, and had to think about it. Which one (or two) would you recommend for someone who had never heard any of Aynsley’s music before?

Pilgrimage: Mississippi to Memphis is the album Aynsley Lister recorded with Erja Lyytinen and Ian Parker in America.

I was considering getting it sometime, can anyone tell me what it is like and if they enjoy it?

Anyone else have legitimate copies of Aynsley’s first 2 albums, ‘Messin With The Kid’ and ‘Pay Attention!’? Even all these years down the line and probably hundreds of gigs later, ‘Pay Attention!’ is still my favourite.

Aynsley, Just ran across your work on ‘Everything I Need’ and found a hidden instrumental jewel behind about two minutes of silence following ‘Little Wing’. Cranked the volume even higher. Your piece? Excellent! Made me think of some of Chris Whitley’s better stuff. Would love to know more about it. Thanks for your rockin’ contribution.
